We want to know what you would like as prizes for the PBS Olympics and what activities you think would be fun to have?

Make plans to attend tomorrow’s TOGA Lightning Thief Premier EVENT!   The Lightning Thief committee has spent countless hours attempting to make this the best dance ever!  We have a really cool DJ… Mr. Webb.  He might even wear a TOGA.  Speaking of TOGAs, they are encouraged for celebrating our reading of The Lightning Thief but not required.  Some of the highlights of the evening will include Artemis’ Archery, Grover’s Goatleg race, Olympian Limbo, The Best Dressed TOGA fashion show, Dionysus’ Dance off, and the list keeps going.  Prizes will be awarded.  You can get your photo taken with Medusa or under the Greek Colonade!  The menu will include Percy’s Pizza, Chiron’s Chips, Mr. D’s Drinks, Camp Half Blood Candies, and a few surprises.   Remember, if you are wearing a TOGA, you get a free drink.  See you at 5:30.  Remember, you can purchase your tickets during lunch on Friday for $5.00.  Don’t miss out!

We will have a toga workshop on the September the 23rd.

                        I’m back and I want to know what you think about the monsters Percy has to fight in the first book. Why do you think these monsters show up in this book and do you think they will show up in the other books? If you have read the other books don’t spoil it for everyone else and don’t say they will be in the other books.

Hey “Halfbloods”!  The summer reading committee took a little break, but we are back in full swing. Mr. Wolfe made some suggestions for discussion points, and I turned them into pages on our blog.  We really want to get going on some digital dish concerning our summer read, The Lightning Thief.  Feel free to post your ideas and make comments.  I will begin with generic discussion points and will develop from there.
